Now if only they’d get 2 or more of these little guys to do a dance off, that would be just awesome.

Totally awesome launch video of space shuttle Atlantis on her most recent mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. Most breathtaking moment: 02:25.
Not actually, I meant DestroyTwitter.

DestroyTwitter is a compact though robust Twitter application built to run on Mac, Windows, and Linux using Adobe AIR. It consists of a series of canvases that constantly update to keep tweets up-to-date using notifications that appear when a new tweet arrives. DestroyTwitter uses a minimal amount of memory compared to its AIR-based alternatives without sacrificing functionality and performance. As a result, it can easily run in the background as an automated process.
My favorite so far among the hordes of AIR based Twitter desktop clients! Believe me, I’ve tried TweetDeck, Seesmic Desktop, Twhirl, and TwitterFox on Firefox and they were all either too bloated for the computer or had ugly interface. DTW on the other hand was very sleek (a bit minimalistic so to speak) and a lot of those little features (such as @ auto-completion) that make for a better Twitter experience.
There was a question over at Yahoo Answers which went like this.
If 4 out of 5 people suffer from hemorrhoids does the 5th person enjoy it?
Totally made my day
Haven’t updated the blog in a while and I’m currently in love with this flying turtle wallpaper from the RC1 release of Windows 7.

One might guess that there might be a certain degree of trippyness in the designer’s mind, which is why it looks so cool. There’s a flickr set of them all here (some are even trippier).
From the Google Operating System Blog:
More facts from Google’s corporate page:
Our world headquarters building (aka the Googleplex) is located in Mountain View, California, a stone’s throw from the Shoreline Regional Park wetlands. While not all Google offices around the globe are identical, they share some essential elements. Here are some things you might find in a Google workspace:
Local flavor, from a mural in Buenos Aires to ski gondolas in Zurich, expressing each office’s unique location and personality. Bicycles for efficient travel between meetings, dogs, lava lamps, and massage chairs. Googlers sharing cubes, yurts, and huddle rooms (few single offices!) with three or four team members. Laptops in every employee’s hand (or bike basket), for mobile coding and note-taking. Foozball, pool tables, volleyball courts, assorted video games, pianos, ping pong tables, lap pools, gyms that include yoga and dance classes. Grassroots employee organizations of all kinds, such as meditation classes, film clubs, wine tasting groups, and salsa dance clubs. Healthy lunches and dinners for all staff at a wide variety of cafés, and outdoor seating for sunshine brainstorming. Snack rooms packed with various snacks and drinks to keep Googlers going throughout the day.
Hmm, seems to me when it comes to blurring the lines between work and play, Google is the place to be!
Update: Seesmic has updated its Desktop client to include Facebook integration + support for multiple Twitter accounts. Interface wise it looks a lot like TweetDeck, with the columns and all …
A new sci-fi movie it’s kinda like 2001: A Space Odyssey! Solitary space life and creepy AI! I’m sold!
GERTY eerily reminds me of HAL 9000. Can’t wait to see this one.
Blog check, 1, 2, 3? Okay? Are you reading this FB? Really? Great! Alright now let’s move on…
So this morning I’ve been tinkering around with my WordPress blog, and along came this question:
How do I push my blog posts on FB? I mean when I publish something on the blog, It’d be really nice if it also appears on my FB profile (and -rather shamelessly- also on other people’s stream
) …
First thing that came to mind was to search for a WordPress app. It seems that that app has been around for quite a while, and a lot of people have been complaining how it’s broken and doesn’t work at all (I’m not really sure if it’s getting updated anymore). So Google to the rescue and just moments later I stumbled upon the answer on the WordPress forums (thank you desperatemothers!). Here’s the really basic step-by-step:

Now each time you publish something on your blog, it will be imported into your profile as a note (accompanied with a link to the original post). Good luck!
